About the Piranhas
Swim Team is a great opportunity for kids ages 6-18 to swim
competitively in the Tri-County Swim League, http://www.tricountyswimming.net.
Swimmers compete in age groups: 8 and under, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14,
and 15-18. The Piranhas Swim Team is a family-oriented sport,
with a parent booster club that is responsible for running home
meets and social activities; all families are required to
help.
In addition to swimming,
activities will include a picnic, spaghetti dinner, and an
end-of-the-season banquet. Swim meets are held on
Saturday mornings, typically ending by 12:30 pm.
Swimmers ride a team bus to away meets; parents are expected to
arrange for their child’s transportation back to Sun
Prairie.
Prerequisite:
Swimmers must be able to swim one lap of the pool and must submit
a completed Code of Conduct form. If you are not sure that your
child can swim one lap, join us at the pre-season practices at the
Sun Prairie High School pool. Conference rules limit participation
by swimmers who live outside of the Sun Prairie School
District.
